If you are unable to fill your rostered date, it is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement BEFORE your allocated date.
Clubs who fail to supply umpires will be required to forfeit the scheduled time slot game if prior to start time, or if Match Committee is advised after game then a loss of points for appropriate team if at the scheduled game time.
|Club Umpiring Requirements (Waverley competition rules)|
|• Clubs must supply a plate umpire for all games where the club is the 1st named team|
|• Clubs must supply a line umpire for all games where the club is the 2nd named team|
|On Saturdays: Umpires must report to the umpires room at least 15 minutes prior to start|
|of the nominated game time to be recorded and receive match card or diamond allocations|
|Under 13s games go from 12:30 – 1:45 PM|
|All umpires MUST wear covered shoes|
|• Junior umpires (under 18 yrs) MUST wear full protective equipment when umpiring any grade|
|• Senior umpires MUST wear (at least) a mask and chest protector when umpiring any grade|
|• All umpires are encouraged to wear a hat|
|Each of the Open teams (1-4) has been allocated up to 5 umpiring days each|
|Wherever possible, team coaches and Committee members will not be required to umpire|
|Players have not been rostered to umpire on days when their team has a bye scheduled.|
