Dale Stocker has taken out the Peta Edebone Medal as the Most Valuable Player in the Waverley Softball Associations Open 1 competition for the third year in a row.
Dale polled 23 votes, winning by a massive 10 vote margin from 2nd placed Jess Bahn, Danielle Rigg and Lauren Daykin who all polled 13 votes.
In previous wins, Dale had won by the small margins of 1 or 2 votes, however she dominated the 2012-13 competition. Dale played in 14 games, polled in 10 of those games and was awarded 3 votes in 5 of those games. Dale was presented with her medal by Peta and she spoke graciously of her pride in winning her 3rd Peta Edebone Medal. Well done Dale !
In the Open 2 Des Smith Medal count, Charlotte Dillion came in second with 14 points, but the lead was never in doubt with Gabrielle Mifsud (Brandon Heights) taking the win on 20 points.
